About
I’ve always been drawn to how things work. The logic underneath, not the surface. Technology was never a career path I chose so much as a direction I kept moving in naturally. The more I pulled on it, the more was there.
That same pull shows up on trails and rock faces. The destination isn’t really the interesting part. What keeps me there is reading the terrain with incomplete information and adjusting as I move. Problems in security and privacy reward the same instinct. You step in before you’ve worked out the full shape of it and figure out the rest as you go.
“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” - Maya Angelou
That’s how I’ve approached every problem I’ve worked on. Knowledge compounds the more I put it to use. I’ve built security programs from scratch and picked up privacy alongside security because the two were always the same problem viewed from different angles.
I’m also genuinely comfortable not knowing. Starting without a map doesn’t unsettle me. That’s usually where the most interesting work happens.
“Everything in the universe has a rhythm, everything dances.” - Maya Angelou
I’ve spent my career working where security and privacy meet the systems that carry them. The work that holds up tends to live in those seams.

Let's connect
Always down for something interesting.
If you're building something, starting something, or figuring something out, I'm genuinely open to hearing about it. I like being around people who are curious and doing things, whether that's a security conversation, a startup idea, a community worth building, or a project that doesn't have a clean category yet.
